National Selections: Report

Alexander Ilyukhin selected first Russian Chocolate Master

Between 1-3 December 2006 the Russian selection for the World Chocolate Masters has taken place at Gostiny Dvor.

Four contestants competed there for the winning ticket to enter the world finals in Paris.

Winner of the Russian selection was Alexander Ilyukhin, a 24-year-old pastry chef from Moscow.

The Taste Award was won by Valentina Komkova, a pastry teacher from Moscow of only twenty years old. 

We wish Mr Ilyukhin a lot of success in Paris!
